aboutThe Center for Ukrainian Reform Education (CURE) was created on the basis of the Ukraine Market Reform Education Program, which had 8 years of experience in conducting public information and education campaigns in Ukraine on the national and local levels. The forerunner of CURE - the Ukraine Market Reform Education Program (UMREP) - was established in 1993 as a joint project of the governments of Ukraine and the United States of America through USAID. The program focused on public education activities to promote social and economic reforms and related mechanisms. The CURE team consist of 50 highly professional experts in sustainable development, social and democratic reforms, media and PR. More then 300 journalists from all over Ukraine cooperate with the Center. CURE has already won a number of the grant competitions. Grants from USAID, Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, National Endowment for Democracy, International Renaissance Foundation and Avon Foundation were received.
